Veterinary Eye Center of New York City is looking for a fifth ophthalmologist to join our team
Veterinary Eye Center of NYC is an ophthalmology-only practice with locations in Manhattan, Queens, and coming soon, Brooklyn! We are looking for a fifth board certified or boards-eligible ophthalmologist to join our team.
Opened in April 2021, Veterinary Eye Center is the first practice in New York City completely dedicated to ophthalmology. You will be joining an experienced team of four full time ophthalmologists with an established caseload. Expect a high volume of patients with all the tools you need to succeed.
Our current locations are in Midtown Manhattan (Hell’s Kitchen) and Long Island City, Queens. We are in the process of establishing our first location in Brooklyn to be opened January 2026 in Park Slope, with CT scan capabilities. All locations are fully equipped for ocular exams, diagnostics (ERG, ultrasound), and procedures (operating microscope, phacoemulsification unit). You will be supported by a well-trained staff eager to provide outstanding patient care and customer service.
We know that a healthy work-life balance is critical for your long-term success and well-being, and we are focused on maintaining a positive and collaborative culture. We offer a 4-day work week with no on-call responsibilities, enabling you to practice the best standard of care while maintaining your own time.
New York City is a wonderful place to live with endless sources of culture and experiences. There are many different neighborhoods to explore with a great sense of community. The Northeast has so much to offer, and from NYC you will have great access to hiking, skiing, and beaches.
We offer a generous compensation and benefits package, including health insurance (vision and dental included), professional liability insurance, 401(k), CE allowance, and paid vacation days. All licensing fees and dues are fully reimbursed. Signing and relocation bonuses are also available. If you are interested in learning more about this exciting opportunity, please contact us by e-mailing alopinto@vecnyc.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!
