ACVO Members Make Steps Forward in Identifying Treatment for Dogs with Congenital Stationary Night Blindness

ACVO board certified veterinary ophthalmologists, Drs. Keiko Miyadera, William Beltran, Gustavo Aguirre (University of Pennsylvania), Simone Iwabe, Ryan Boyd, and Joshua Bartoe (Charles River Laboratories') have made steps forward in identifying a treatment for dogs with congenital stationary night blindness using gene therapy. These findings could also help humans with night blindness in the future!
