Animal Eye Clinic was established in 2016, north of Indianapolis, with a mission to change the way specialty veterinary medicine is provided. We’re an ophthalmology-only private practice with a pet first approach, providing the highest quality pet eye care across Indiana.

What Animal Eye Clinic is offering:

Animal Eye Clinic is proud to be accepting applications from those qualified individuals for a three-year (3) comparative ophthalmology residency!  The objectives of the program are to provide advanced clinical training and experience in clinical ophthalmic research. At AEC, you will join two (2) experienced ophthalmologists, and a 2nd year resident with an established caseload. You can expect a high-volume caseload with plenty of support from our skilled team. Our goal is to allow you to grow with AEC and thrive in an efficient and homey work environment. We’re proud of our newly constructed beautiful office space (completed 2024) and modernized equipment.

Dates: July 14th, 2024 – July 15th, 2028

Deadlines:  Applications are due November 11, 2024 @ noon EST. Following the review of applications, selected candidates may be invited for a personal or telephone interview.

Salary and Benefits:  

$51,500 with annual increases year 2 and 3

Post Residency Commitment: None

Prerequisites:

1.One-year rotating internship or equivalent experience

2.Applicants need to have DVM or equivalent and passed the NAVLE

3. Approved candidates will need to acquire Indiana License prior to start of residency
