Texas A&M University Ophthalmology Specialty Internship

Texas A&M University Ophthalmology Specialty Internship:  The Texas A&M University Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences is now accepting applications for a 1-year specialty ophthalmology internship position.

Inclusive dates of the program: July 15th, 2025 – July 15th, 2026

Salary:  $45,000

  • Letter of intent – statement of the candidate’s interests and goals in ophthalmology

  • Resume/Curriculum Vitae – including cumulative veterinary school GPA, class rank, phone and e-mail contact information. 

  • Copy of transcripts – including both preclinical and clinical veterinary curricula

  • Three letters of recommendation – additional letters will not be accepted.  Note:  Letters should be sent Ms. Amanda Williams (vscsrecruiting@cvm.tamu.edu) by the person authoring the letter via e-mail with the subject line reading:  “Recommendation. Applicant’s Last Name. Applicant’s First Name”

Internship offer date: Monday January 27th 2025, shortly following the ORCA results at 12pm EST.  Please be available by phone at this time.
